Aligned Setup Instructions
Step 1: Create a Seller for Beacon
In Aligned Showings, go to My Listings from the navigation menu
Select the Edit Listing icon for a listing
Navigate to Seller/Tenant Involvement
Click Add Seller/Tenant
Start typing Beacon, then click Invite New User.
The Add Seller/Tenant screen is displayed.
Enter the following and select 'Add Person'
Select Seller
First Name = Beacon
Last Name = Showings
Phone Number = 555-5555 (fake number)
Email Address = your Beacon Showings Inbox email (found in the Beacon Showings Inbox)
Step 2: Configure Seller Showing Settings
Configure the following settings for the Beacon Showings seller and select Done:
Under Seller Involvement in Showings, select: Notifications Only
Alert Preferences = Email
Can View Feedback = Yes
All Feedback = Selected
Step 3: Add Beacon as a Seller on Each Listing
To ensure showings and feedback are captured in Beacon, you’ll need to add Beacon as a Seller on each listing.
In Aligned Showings, go to My Listings from the navigation menu
Select the Edit Listing icon for the desired listing
Navigate to Seller/Tenant Involvement
Click Add Seller/Tenant
Search for the Beacon Showings user and add them to the listing
Confirm the showing settings match those outlined in Step 2
Important Notes
Beacon must be added as a Seller on each listing to receive showing events
Beacon only receives emails sent to your unique Beacon Inbox email address
You will still receive emails in your personal inbox - Beacon simply receives a copy
What to Expect
Once set up, any new showing activity from Aligned will automatically:
Appear in your Beacon Showings Inbox
Be reflected in the corresponding Beacon under Showings & Open Houses
💡 Tip
If you’re not seeing activity come through, double-check that:
Beacon has been added as a Seller on the listing
The Seller settings for Beacon match those in Step 2
