Beacon FAQs

My changes aren’t showing in the published Beacon.

Most likely cause: Changes were saved, but not published.
Fix:

  • Confirm changes were saved in the section.

  • Click Publish in the top header.

  • Re-open the public link and refresh the browser.


I can’t find the Beacon I created.

Fix:

  • Use the Dashboard search (address / agent / creator).

  • Check pagination (Page 1 / 2 / 3…).

  • Sort by Date Created.


Specific social posts aren’t appearing as an option to select.

Fix:

  • Confirm the Account dropdown isn’t filtering to the wrong account.

  • Confirm social accounts are connected.

  • Click Refresh Social Metrics.

  • Confirm the correct platform tab is selected (Instagram vs Facebook, etc.).

Notes:

  • Posts can display as far back as two weeks before the list date.

  • If a listing was delisted and relisted, older posts may fall outside the available window. In that case, contact support.

  • Beacon is not yet able to pull in paid ads or ad metrics.


Comps look wrong or outdated.

Fix:

  • Open Comps → click Refresh Listing & Comps.

  • Confirm Comp Settings (radius, price %, beds/baths, sold timeframe).

  • Add a comp manually if key properties are missing.


How do I add Trulia, Realtor.com, MLS, or other website stats?

Option 1: Add as default websites (recommended)

  • Go to Default Website Settings.

  • Add the site name and URL so it appears on all Beacons.

  • Inside each Beacon, enter the listing URL and metric value in the Websites section.

Option 2: Add directly inside a Beacon

  • Open the Beacon.

  • Go to the Websites section.

  • Add the site URL and enter the number of views


Why isn’t my Instagram collab post showing up in Beacon?

Collab posts only appear if the connected account is the original publisher of the post.

Workaround: Add the collab post as a Task, including the link and any relevant metrics.


Why isn’t my post showing the correct number of impressions?

Most likely cause: Beacon only pulls organic impressions. Boosted/paid impressions are not included.

Workaround: Add the correct numbers as a Task and include a screenshot or link to platform analytics.


I'm an individual user. Can I connect multiple social accounts?

As an Admin user, why can’t I see Beacons created before I joined the team?

Currently, Beacons created before a user was added to a team cannot be shared retroactively. Please reach out to support.


My Beacon isn’t pulling comps. What should I check?

From the Comps page, confirm the Comp Settings for that Beacon are set correctly:

  • Turn off Same City / Same ZIP.

  • Increase the mile radius.

  • Widen the price range.

  • Confirm the sold timeframe isn’t too narrow.

  • Click SaveRefresh Comps.


How can I share the Beacon report with the seller?

  • Open the Beacon.

  • Click Share in the top-right.

  • Copy the link and/or use the pre-written email message.


Logo/video/colors didn’t update.

Fix:

  • Confirm changes were saved in Beacon Settings.

  • Confirm the file type is supported (PNG/JPG recommended).

  • Click Publish after saving.


A teammate can’t access my Beacon.

Fix:

  • Go to Beacon SettingsShare with Team Members.

  • Add the teammate and click Save.


The wrong listing is being pulled into my Beacon.

Fix:

  • Confirm the address matches exactly how it appears in Zillow.

  • Create a Beacon using the Zillow link to ensure the correct match.


I’ve connected my socials, but now it says there are no posts available.

Beacon can lose access if platform permissions or passwords are updated.

Fix:

  • Go to Social Media → click the gear icon.

  • Disconnect the platform.

  • Reconnect the platform and complete the login steps.


My Beacon has the incorrect status.

Fix:

  • Confirm the Zillow listing shows the correct status.

  • Click Refresh Beacon.

  • Confirm Listing & Online Metrics is toggled on.


Multiple of the same listing appears in Comps.

This can occur when Zillow has multiple versions of the address.

Fix: Hide or delete the incorrect duplicate.


Where does Beacon get its listing data from?

Listing data is pulled from Zillow.


Does Beacon support any MLS integrations?

No, not at this time.


Does Beacon support Canadian agents?

No, not at this time.


How do I cancel my Beacon subscription?

Go to Profile → Manage Billing.


How does pricing per active Beacon work?

Only listings with an active listing status count toward the total. Beacons marked sold or off market do not count.

Our current plans are:

  • Standard: $99/mo - 5 active listings

  • Plus: $149/mo - 10 active listings

  • Pro: $199/mo - 15 active listings

  • Premium: $249/mo - 25 active listings

My branding isn’t showing on some Beacons - why?

Branding updates only apply to Beacons created after Design Settings are saved. Beacons created earlier will continue to show the previous design. They can still be updated within the Beacon itself, under Design Settings.


What websites pull views automatically?

Beacon automatically pulls public view data (when available) from:

  • Zillow

  • Redfin

  • Homes.com

Views must be visible on the public site to be accessed.


Are paid social ads available to include in a Beacon?

Not at this time.


Can I connect my LinkedIn account to Beacon?

Not currently. LinkedIn posts and metrics can be added manually as a Task.


Can I manually add comps?

Yes. Once added, clicking Refresh will update the price and status automatically.


If I add comps manually and then refresh, will they disappear?

Manually added comps are never removed during Refresh. To remove one, it must be deleted manually.


Can I control whether sold or active comps show?

Yes - inside Comp Settings per Beacon or under Default Comp Settings.


Does Beacon auto-connect to ShowingTime or Aligned?

Not yet.


How can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Go to Profile → Manage Billing to change plans at any time.


Can I set default or template tasks for all Beacons?

Not yet.


Does Beacon support ‘For Lease’ listings?

No, not at this time.


Is there a mobile app for Beacon?

No, not at the time. Any Beacon management must be done on a desktop.


Are Beacon reports mobile-friendly?

Yes — Beacon reports are designed for both desktop and mobile. To preview the mobile experience, enter Preview mode and use the Desktop/Mobile toggle in the top-left corner.


Am I able to track when a Beacon has been viewed?

No, not at this time.
