Important: Settings define defaults only. They do not retroactively update existing Beacons.
Team Design & Branding
Purpose: Set the default visual identity for all newly created Beacons within the account.
What can be configured
Primary brand color
Secondary brand color
Logo
These values are used as the default branding when a new Beacon is created.
How it behaves
New Beacons automatically inherit these branding settings.
Branding can still be customized per Beacon under Beacon Settings → Branding.
Updating Team Design & Branding does not update existing Beacons.
Default Comp Settings
Purpose: Define the starting comp filters used when creating new Beacons, ensuring consistent market comparisons across listings.
What can be configured:
Default price range (% above/below list price)
Beds and baths ranges
Property type
Square footage variance
Location filters (radius, same city/zip)
Sold listings timeframe
How it behaves
These settings are applied automatically to new Beacons.
Users can still:
Adjust comp filters per Beacon via Comps → Comp Settings
Refresh comps after making Beacon-level changes
Changes made here do not overwrite comp settings on existing Beacons.
Default Website Settings
Purpose: Control which websites appear by default in the Websites section of newly created Beacons, and in what order.
What can be configured:
Default websites included (Zillow, Redfin, Homes.com, Trulia and Realtor.com)
Display names
Default order of websites
How it behaves
New Beacons start with this predefined website list and order.
At the Beacon level, users can still:
Add custom websites
Reorder websites
Hide or show individual sitesUpdate view counts
Changes made in Default Website Settings do not affect existing Beacons.
