How to Save a Beacon as a PDF for Sharing or Printing
If you need to share a Beacon report with someone who prefers that format, or if you want a print-friendly version, you can quickly convert it to a PDF using a free online tool. Here's how:
Step 1: Get your Beacon's shareable link
Open your Beacon report and copy the URL from your browser's address bar. It will look something like: https://api.buildyourbeacon.com/view/v1/report?view_id=8283421accdf4fcee096b16dff607799-68f3961d7a15b706dd853d79
Step 2: Go to the converter
In a new browser tab, navigate to web2pdfconvert.com.
Step 3: Paste the URL
Click into the URL field on the page and paste your Beacon report link.
Step 4: Convert and download
Click the blue "Download the converted file" button.
The tool will process the page and download a PDF version of your Beacon report directly to your computer.
Step 5: Share or print
Open the downloaded PDF from your Downloads folder. You can now email it as an attachment, upload it to a shared drive, or send it to a printer.
Tip: The PDF will reflect the Beacon exactly as it appears at the time of conversion. If your Beacon data is updated later, you'll need to repeat these steps to get a fresh copy.
